Liked: Very comfortable bed.
Disliked: The breakfast was a mixture of under-cooked, spot-on and over-cooked food which should not have been served. I left most of it as the grilled tomato was burnt on the cut-edge and rock-hard underneath, the bacon was over-cooked and difficult to cut, the poached egg was spot-on and the black pudding was too dry. Not good overall!

Lovely hotel

Liked: A lovely cosy hotel that will give you a 100% English history feeling. It's an old manor beautifully converted into a hotel, preserving all the details that makes the building special. You really feel like a guest to a Lord's house. It even has collections of old edition books in the bookcases built in the hallway walls.Inside the room I had well preserved old furniture, clean bathroom and bedsheets. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.
