Woodland Bay Hotel

Not a "hotel". Overpriced. Wouldn't...

Liked: Decent size room.
Disliked: (1) It is not a "hotel". There is no restaurant. It is more like a motel or self catering rooms. It is vastly overpriced for what it is . They leave some fruit/cereals etc in the room.(2) If you want dinner, you'll need to go into the town or phone a takeaway. If you're there on a Monday or Tuesday, options in town are limited. (3) It is right beside the main A-road to ferry terminal/ Northern Ireland. If you need to open the window, it can be loud. The night i was there was particularly warm, so had to open the window - and got hardly any sleep.

Liked: Very clean and well presented. Nicely stocked fridge and tray for continental breakfast. Fantastic water pressure in the shower. A very quiet and scenic location.
Disliked: No housekeeping to replenish tray or towels. Replacements available on request at desk.

Liked: Lovely property in lovely setting
Disliked: No pub or restaurant within property as stated on booking.com so found it very remote, and expensive for what we received as it was only a room.

Liked: Clean, well stocked continental breakfast provided, comfortable and spacious room.
Disliked: You could hear traffic noise , but the road quietened at night and the double glazed windows helped.
