Liked: The room was large, comfortable and well ventilated to cope with the heatwave. Nice swimming pool, unfortunately there were no times available to use it during our stay as it was popular with local residents.
Disliked: It will be lovely when it is finished. We had a balcony room which was very nice. Unfortunately there was no partition on the balcony to divide the balcony with the room next door. Also no balcony furniture which was disappointing.

An enjoyable weekend in Spalding
Liked: View was good, the place was spotlessly clean and we arrived during a heat wave and they provided us with two fans to counteract the heat
Disliked: Breakfast was not as good as expected.

Liked: The rooms are of a good size.
Disliked: It was very warm in the property, you have to book and pay for the pool, bar closes at 7:30, no real outside seating area (only for smokers), on arrival we ordered spaghetti bolognese and it somehow arrived without the spaghetti. Outside looks very warn.

Lovely place to stay
Liked: The place was comfortable and clean and pleasant to stay in, really lovely staff too! Good size room, and nice facilities including use of the pool.
Disliked: The road to drive in or out of the venue was a little tricky onto the main road.

Definitely NOT worth the money
Liked: Not much to be honest. The staff were friendly and tried to help where they could re booking pubs / restaurants Best part was chatting to two local ladies who were lovely whilst outside near the Jacuzzi
Disliked: I stayed 3 nights, £100 a night, (room only)Understaffed, only one person on duty at a time, to run reception, the bar and clean the rooms, if you wanted assistance at reception you had to ring the front doorbell. The front door was permanently shut, not very welcoming.Room was never made up, therefore tea and coffee was not replenished and cups not washed. The bathroom was tiny, I had to slide in between the sink and toilet to sit down. The sanitary bin lid did not close properly. The shower had a large step up into it and no hand rail, very dangerous if showering after your friend / partner, the same applied when stepping out, no rail to assist.I only had breakfast once, which was ok. (and had to pay extra)The pool also had no hand rail to assist people in and out, the outdoor Jacuzzi was not cleaned that I saw and always had dead flies floating in it. Not all of the jets worked. The view was ok, but the large rubbish pile that is in the video is still there and makes for a real eyesore. We were charged an extra £10 per person for use of "the facilities" which is not acceptable as the locals (as its open to the public) only pay £30 a month, also use of the pool and other amenities is normally included as standard in all other hotels I have stayed in.The restaurant doubled as the bar area and was not very relaxing or comfortable if you wanted an evening drink before heading out.The hotel is situated very close to a roundabout on a very busy main road, and opposite a petrol station and McDonalds, the view is very restricted and almost dangerous when trying to pull out of the driveway. Its poorly signposted and very easy to miss when arriving for the first time.

Liked: The room was spacious and the staff pleasant
Disliked: The vegetarian breakfast came with the wrong eggs and couldnt be remedied as they were out of eggs?! The hotel is undergoing renovations so when you arrive it looks like a building site. The hotel is on a very busy road and you cannot open the windows because of the noise and the room was unbearably hot at night. (even during a spell of average weather) the room had two fans but were too noisy to sleep with on. We paid extra for the pool and hot tub, you get 45 minutes alone which is nice but when you are getting dry you are watched by the staff and the next paying guest! Very odd! They need to allow 15 minutes between bookings so you can change in peace! The breakfast room doubles as a bar, plastic tables and no atmosphere and it closes at 9pm - not great when you are watching England in the Semi Finals! The drinks are also very very expensive!!

Liked: Greta location. Lots of facilities inc a pool. Lovely room lots of spaceLarge bathroom
Disliked: Small things. But the hair dryer very very cheap, I guess from a cut price shop. The lead was so short not able to dry hair anywhere near a mirror?.. Bathroom needed a table/cabinet to put toiletries/ medicines on.
