Very good
Liked: Location is good on a bus route into Lincoln also a nice bit of walking around marina and along canal. Our room was quite (top floor) and the restaurant/bar served good food and drinks
Disliked: We did find the mattress hard and the TV didn't have a very good signal kept loosing picture on the limited channels available

Functional, no frills
Liked: Location worked well for us. As part of a restaurant it provided an onsite eating option.
Disliked: Hopefully they have updated their address to Woodcocks Lane as it wasn't Saxilby Road per our confirmation

The room wash not serviced...
Liked: Location & cleanliness.
Disliked: Stayed for 2 nights and the room was not serviced during my stay. No one had been in the room to clean, make the beds or even replenish the tea and coffee. Very bad not servicing a room and no excuse after I had spent my time tidying up my gear, before I left for a day out, so that the staff could easily clean and do whatever they had to do. Returned after a day out to dirty cups and glasses and unmade bed.Won't be staying here again and suggest others look elsewhere.

Disliked: We thought the Woodcocks set up was great and we were very pleased.with the accomodation.We were met by Matt in the Inn who had a notibly unfriendly demeanor, we arrived at reception at 1pm forgetting thr check in time, he asked Can I help? In a way that we knew we were too early, inconvenient, we said thats fine we will have some lunch, it wouldhave been nice to have been told of the offers available to us as hotel guests. His whole demeaner wreaked of bad attitude and littleinterest in customer service.We were checked in by a lovely young lady and were pleased with our room, lovely and cool as it was a 30⁰ day. We had a refresh and took a walk to lincoln down the canal path for an event that evening! Slept well, my companion felt single bed was abit small. In the morning weheaded over to the Inn and was greeted by a young lady Sarah, she was incredibly competant, friendly, hardworking, we learnt she had been there for about 10 days... she was doing the work of 3 individuals, i felt she could have done with an extra pair of hands, all that said she was unflappable a true professional.We heard a glass smash in the breakfast coffee and juice area, a elderly customer had dropped one on the tiled floor by accident, Matt stood at the til looked at it huffed and puffed and took minutes to find composure before assisting with the clean up.Later a colleage asked him fot something from behind the bar acleaning spray bottle, he was serving someone on the till he leaned under to retrieve it and slammed it on thebar in utter distaste.. he comes across as an absolute drain to work.After our breakfast i went to pay, i said would you like my room number or table, Matt said what did you have? He then asked me for the total with no please or thank you, he made me feel so angry as i had watched his whole attitude our entire stay.
