Liked: The location is stunning and the staff were generally very helpful and charming.
Disliked: The evening meal was poor and hugely overpriced. The service was mixed. Very nice staff but clear problems with getting food from the kitchen in a timely manner, i.e. sides being sent out some time after the main meal. Would not use again.Need to also get certain basics right, i.e. maintenance of the men's locker room.

Liked: Lovely room, comfortable, quiet. Very friendly staff. Nice pool.
Disliked: Could have a little more choice on dining menu's.Food was cold on the self-service. But staff were happy to bring fresh items straight from the kitchen.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful...

Liked: Breakfast was good. We had the buffet but there was a range of included cooked to order options too. Room was spacious. I'd expected things to be a bit tired from other reviews but wasn't at all. Staff were all a delight.
Disliked: There was a road closed (for 2 out 6 or so weeks) which actually didn't affect the route from Wetherby, but Google didn't agree. Wild goose chase. It'd be good for the hotel to share directions knowing this was a problem.
