Liked: Wonderful welcome gorgeous room and a lovely evening with good food and lovely wine
Disliked: Breakfast just wasn't the standard of the rest of our experience at the hotel

Liked: Breakfast was good. We had the buffet but there was a range of included cooked to order options too. Room was spacious. I'd expected things to be a bit tired from other reviews but wasn't at all. Staff were all a delight.
Disliked: There was a road closed (for 2 out 6 or so weeks) which actually didn't affect the route from Wetherby, but Google didn't agree. Wild goose chase. It'd be good for the hotel to share directions knowing this was a problem.

Liked: A walk through the Georgian era with original features carefully manicured, punctuated with soft furnishings
Disliked: A ladder into the pool was different as I’m disabled. Steps would be a bonus

Liked: Lovely hotel and staff excellent
Disliked: No blinds or net to stop outside people looking in only heavy drapes and it was extremely hot/ dark room to be shutting drapes
