Everything was lovely!!

Loved it

Liked: The concept and location is superb!
Disliked: A few mechanical problems like in the air conditioning, coffee maker etc

Attentive service, beautiful views

Liked: Excellent location and wonderful 180° view across the river. I was impressed with the staff too - attentive and solution focussed.
Disliked: I didn't realise that there are only a few secure car bays available for guests and they need to be reserved prior to arrival. This was a problem for us but the receptionist did her best to resolve it once she understood our situation. For this, I was very grateful.

Disliked: Restaurant and bar closed on a Sunday. Requested lotion replacement for bathroom two times over two days, not done.

Disappointing.

Liked: The hotel's architecture and decor is beautiful. Location great for our needs. Breakfast was fine.
Disliked: We were not told we needed to prebook hotel parking. We were required to park offsite. We had a long wait (as did others) to check in which was a problem because we were on a tight schedule. Insufficient staff to handle guest numbers on a weekend. We were given a room with a fully accessible bathroom (with facilities for a person with disabilities) rather than a standard bathroom with a more attractive room layout. When we followed the instructions to operate the wifi and connect apps on our phones to the television - it did not work so TV was limited to free to air. We were not informed that the hotel does not have room service so we went to bed hungry after returning from a nearby concert. I hit my head on the bedside lamp shade which protrudes a long way from the wall.
