Wolds Motel - Mt. Pleasant

gross!

Liked: they had pan flips for anywhere else to be besides this place
Disliked: the bathroom was dirty and didn’t look like it had been cleaned, a spider was was literally in a web next to the toilet paper. bugs crawling on the floor, nasty bedding, ceiling is gross and has a hole in it and the pricing is honestly crazy for what your getting. location doesn’t feel safe & property doesn’t look taken care of very well. won’t ever go back.

Good

Liked: Went to a concert at the casino and just needed a place to sleep for the night. Price was right and location was great for what we needed. Communication with staff beforehand was great as well as when checking in.
Disliked: The room could use some updating and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable but was fine for one night.

Pleasant

Liked: It was a good value for the money.
Disliked: It was an older building that could use a little more maintenance

It was quiet, but besides...

Liked: I didn’t!!
Disliked: Where the location was there’s people living there, and we are way in the back of this place. It was a bed and one chair the toilet paper roll was broke. The floor was filthy. They had one chair to sit in. That was it so every time we go to sit down and we had to sit on the bed.

Liked: Convenient location
Disliked: They tried to charge us more for the price that we booked for because they found out it was the local university graduation and tried to make more money off from us. Total breach of contract. We fought it and paid for what we booked it for.

Very Basic Motel, But It's...

Liked: This is a very, very basic small motel (all outside entrance and one level.) But the room was REALLY big. We have frequently traveled with our kids and two air beds, that barely fit in a two twin bed room. This room had two queen beds and could easily have accomodated 4 air beds. Bathroom was also a good size. Easily the BEST wifi we have ever had in any hotel or motel.
Disliked: Being a special weekend, the price seemed high, but it was half the price of other national chain hotels. We were only there for a total of about 14 hours, and most of that was showering and sleeping, so cost was tough. Motel in the middle of a subdivision was odd, and bathroom fan was pretty loud. NNo extras (pool, breakfast,) Breakfast would have helped offset the cost a bit.

We had a good stay,...

Liked: I liked the size of our room, and there was a king-sized bed. They knocked on our door and reminded us 30 minutes before checkout, and gave us a welcome mat after we got our things situated. Overall they made a good impression.
Disliked: After taking a shower in the bathroom, I walked around barefoot for maybe 5 minutes while I got ready for the day and the bottoms of my feet were dirty, so the floors weren't as clean as they looked, and the room had a pretty strong odor of Pinesol but it didn't bother me as much as my partner.
