Last but not least.

Liked: All was great but doesn't matter now as we were the last residents.
Disliked: Nothing.

Easy access to the town.

Liked: The breakfast was cereals and toast and adequate. The property was in the town centre and therefore handy for shopping and restaurants. However the property lease was ending 4 days later than our visit and therefore was in need of refurbishment. The staff were very helpful but of course were due to lose their jobs.
Disliked: The room was not a good size, needed refurbishing but was adequate.

Rather expensive for what it...

Liked: Location close to town centre was what we needed and was therefore perfect.
Disliked: Exterior of building and grounds and paintwork of some interiors e.g. the hallway, looks uncared for - it all needs a coat of paint a s tidying up! Back yard seating area not attractive. Breakfast is serve-yourself basics and make your own coffee. Didn't feel comfortable that the building wasn't manned at all during early morning and breakfast.

Not even close to 4...

Liked: The location is fantastic, just out the door and you're on the main high street with access to many lovely shops, restaurants and so on.
Disliked: This is not a 4 star hotel, this is at best a 2 star B&B, why booking.com as it as a hotel is beyond me. Place is dilapidated and tired, room had wrappers and other detritus in it on arrival, bathroom had not been cleaned. If you are over 5'10" you will not fit in the shower in Reed room, and the fact the handle to adjust the shower height is missing doesnt help when you have to fold in half to wash your hair. Both nights we had to contact the staff with regards to hot water and were fobbed off the first night as to why there was none, eventually managed a bath/shower at 10 pm, once the boiler had been switched on and the water had warmed, this happend on both nights. There is so much noise from the floorboards that any movement in this house can be heard throughout, so if you expect a good night's sleep, think again. The bath mat was nice though...
