Pleasant

Liked: Staff was nice.
Disliked: Room seemed to be in need of refurbishing. Toilet clogged up, had difficulty flushing, didn't quit "running" until flapper was manually reseated. Shower was adequate but not great. Breakfast was OK but not exceptional.

Liked: The facility was ideal, for weekend stay and family friendly.
Disliked: One arrival staffs were not very welcoming. There was someone at the desk checking in when I got there. I stood patiently waiting for them to check that individual in. After checking that person in the gentleman and young lady (receptionist) stood around whispering and idling while I continued to stand in-front of the receptionist desk waiting to be checked. I was intentionally ignored. I was only acknowledged when I got tired of waiting and walked directly to the desk. Poor customer service.

Our stay at the Wingate...

Liked: The location was great plenty of places to dine close by! That worked out great since my wife and I were celebrating our 50th anniversary! Really enjoyed it!
Disliked: One small thing, there was only one night stand inside the room! So I had to put my wallet phone and books on the floor!
