Immaculately Clean, But I Won’t...

Liked: If you’re looking for a spotless hotel, this place absolutely delivers. Just like other reviews said, the cleanliness here is next-level. From the lobby to the elevator to the room itself, every surface sparkled. I was genuinely impressed by the attention to detail floors, linens, bathroom fixtures, even the remote control felt freshly sanitized. It’s clear the housekeeping team takes real pride in their work.The front desk experience was mixed. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful, especially the team working the later shift when we checked in. However, when I arrived a few hours early and asked about the possibility of an early check-in, one woman at the desk was noticeably rude. She informed me there was a $25 fee, which is fine, but her tone was unnecessarily unpleasant. We opted to wait the 1.5 hours until regular check-in, and thankfully the staff had changed by then and everyone else was lovely.The room itself was just as clean as the rest of the hotel. Beds were firm but surprisingly comfortable, and everything felt fresh and well-maintained.Now for the downsides. The clientele was… questionable. I had several random men say hello to me in the lobby and elevator, and while nothing happened, it felt uncomfortable. Not the hotel’s fault, but worth noting. The location is also a major drawback. This part of Wilmington feels a bit sketchy—definitely not somewhere I’d walk around at night. It’s next to a Hooters, which kind of sets the tone. If you can, I’d recommend staying downtown instead. It’s only 4.5 miles away but feels like a completely different world.On the plus side, parking was easy and well-lit, and the hotel is directly across from a Target and in front of a Walmart, which was convenient.Overall, the cleanliness was outstanding, but between the location and the vibe, I won’t be returning.
