Needs better attention in cleaning...

Liked: The price is, in fact, very competitive (cheap).It is ideal for solo trips, especially for a stopover to continue the next day.The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: Had problem with the cleanliness of the hallways and rooms.The photos show a modern environment, but the hallway leading to the rooms is covered in old carpet and was dirty.In the first room, the alarm kept ringing as soon as we arrived.We asked to change rooms.The paint in the hallway and on the doors (beige and brown) is also not as modern (not showed in photos of annoucement).The second room (after we moved from the first) had a strong smell of greasy food, perhaps because of the microwave.In the second room, the shampoo refill was completely empty, which shows yet another failure by the maintenance team.There were uncleaned stains on some parts of the bedroom wall, and the bathtub in the bathroom needs to be polished or cleaned more thoroughly.The balcony had cigarette butts that were not collected by the cleaning staff.The project is promising due to its low cost, but the cleaning staff needs better training and modernization of the rooms and hallways, so that the guest does not feel dissatisfied looking at the photos in the advertisement and finding a slightly different environment when arriving at the hotel.Unfortunately I had to cancel the next few days and stay somewhere else.

Liked: I had a great stay at the Wingate Hotel in Troy! The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. Exactly what I needed after a long day of travel. The beds were super cozy, and the pillows were of good quality

Excellent Stay at the Wingate...

Liked: I recently stayed at the Wingate Hotel in Troy and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed, including a comfortable bed, a large TV, and a spotless bathroom.
