Liked: Let me start by saying, the night crew was FANTASTIC. I wish I would have gotten her name to give a shout out personally, but I didn't. The majority of the staff at this location was extremely friendly. We also enjoyed the location being slightly outside of the hustle and bustle of town but could access anything we needed within moments.
Disliked: This hotel had so much potential but I am unlikely stay here in the future. The second I entered the facility there was a pungent smell of mildew. This smell was through out the main floor and the hallways we walked down. I was confused as we settled into our room. I anticipated the "King Suite with Sofa Bed - Non-Smoking" would have a private bedroom separate from the living room area. I did not complain assuming this was my error due to not reading the full description. Our bathroom tile had soap scum on it, the grout was noticeably dirty, the shower did not work properly, and toilet lid could've used some additional attention. Despite listing the number of guests staying in our room, we did not have enough towels or wash cloths. I even found our remote in a Ziploc bag with a note stating 'Because the "do not disturb' sign was displayed, we did not clean your room today. If you would clean towels, linens, or any other service please call the front desk." This may be standard procedure (not one I've ever seen) but definitely did not make me feel the room was cleaned between stays. I realize these were minor inconveniences. I just know I could've stayed at my usual booking, had a better experience, and spent the same amount of money.
