Spark by Hilton Lancaster Dutch Country

My overall experience at Wingate was not satisfactory. I wouldn't recommend staying at this location and I have no plans of returning.

Liked: The room itself was decent.
Disliked: Called 2 days before my scheduled check in requesting an early check in time (2.5 hours early). When I arrived I was told I couldn't check in. I then called an hour later and was told to call back in another hour. I decided to go back to the hotel to ask for a refund and suddenly my room was available. I drove almost 3 hours for an event in Lancaster. I wasn't happy with my experience at Wingate.

Liked: Staff was excellent, especially Girard who was especially helpful. Building is well maintained and clean.
Disliked: Entering and exiting the property can be challenging but manageable.

Disliked: The door kiosk was broken. They had to let me in when I returned to my room. But I understand things do happen. But I would stay again for sure!

Liked: My stay was excellent. The only thing I missed that I have become accustomed to during travel was access to a printer and computer, but that may not be the niche Spark is targeting.
