Good location. Unfortunate timing for us - hotel was full of noisy 8 to10 year olds playing in a soccer tournament. Management handled it and the noise level went down noticably.

Disliked: There were people outside playing loud music and I reported it to front desk but nothing got resolved. I had to go tell those people to turn the music down. Clearly front desk didn’t care. There were no room darkening shades in my room. And a big light pointing directly in my room. I got maybe one hour of sleep. The tv worked but with no channels. Maintenance came too many times to really the issue and still didn’t resolve the issues. Maintenance personnel smelled like weed and had dirty clothes on, looks like he just woke up and rushed to the hotel. Very unprofessional. The shower barely had water coming out and I did not have any shampoo. Just two bottles of lotion. Too many loud people in the hotel. I will choose a different hotel from now on. No professionalism at front desk. Seem more of a kids setting with workers sitting on counter tops, talking about their life instead of doing business.

Liked: The location is always great. The breakfast is always great. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and courteous. My room is always nice and comfortable. Anytime I ask for any accommodations they are met beyond my expectations Wingate will always place is my go-to-place every time I'm in Louisiana.
Disliked: I didn't like that Miss Adrian wasn't there anymore because she was such a sweet lady but I have absolutely no other complaints
