Short stay while visiting family...

Liked: Convient location to the hospital
Disliked: A bit dated. Rooms were not as clean as other Holiday Express locations we’ve used

We will not be back....

Liked: We didn’t find anything that we liked about the facility
Disliked: Our room was filthy. I don’t think it been vacuumed in a while. The entertainment shelf had stains or pop spill on the side. One the bed creaks bad every time you move it it keep waking us up. I don’t think the sheets had been changed as there were hairs and lint in the beds. The baseboards in the room haven’t been dusted in a while. The complementary breakfast was not stocked and the staff member kept complaining that the equipment wasn’t working properly. I had called down to the front desk to request towels and she stated she was the only one working as asked for me to come to the front desk to retrieve items. We paid $134 for the first night and $174 the second night which is outrageous based on the amenities or lack there of and cleanliness of the room and hallways if I could I would request a refund. This was definitely not a good experience for being in this hotel and Fort Saskatchewan for the first time. First impressions are crucial.

Comfortable, quiet, and economically friendly.

Liked: Upon arrival the front desk associate was personable and helpful. While the room was on the first floor and relatively close to where the ice machines were there was little to no noise pollution.The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well, and the shower hygiene products were higher quality than you see at many hotels.
Disliked: The coffee in the breakfast area left something to be desired but this is insignificant in comparison to all the positives at this Holiday Inn Express location.
