Clean but overpriced hotel

Liked: The hotel is located at convenient location. The rooms and the hotel overall are clean. The mattresses are soft and comfortable.
Disliked: The AC in the room and art on the walls are very outdated.The switches for night lights next to the beds did not work. The night lights could be turned on/off only from the switches at the front door, which is very inconvenient. The breakfast area is small and it was served by one person only.The staff in both breakfast area and reception were not very friendly. When asked the lady at the breakfast area to refill the hot water for tea, she was not very happy to do it. When we booked the room, although we put request to be on higher floor, and arrived half an hour after check in time, the staff did not not seen our request at all and had assigned us 1st-floor room. It took awhile for staff to to look online and find another room on the 3rd floor for us. On the check out day, it was Sunday, we were leaving the room and already at the door at 11:05am( 5min past checkout time) when we got a call from the reception that we were late for checkout.
