Family vacation 2025

Liked: Clean hotel with indoor swimming pool. Staff was very nice. Comfortable beds and good continental breakfast every morning. They accomodated us nicely on very short notice so we will definitely stay again.
Disliked: Not really a con but due to sickness, they only had one housekeeper working so we had to ask for fresh towels each day. This was out of their control so I don't fault the hotel employees on this. I'm sure they do an excellent job when fully staffed. The hotel employees quickly helped us any time we asked for some.

Very good

Liked: Quiet, I didn't see a single person. Tons of USB C charging ports. I counted at least 7. The TV was very nice. The showers were excellent. The staff was great as well.
Disliked: They cut corners on the pillows, literally the pillows were just small squares. The room was very hot and took a long time to cool down.In the morning, the breakfast options were awful. I just ended up getting breakfast someplace else.

Liked: 20 stars. Wonderful stay. Will stay again.
Disliked: Watery orange juice

Liked: The sausage was undercooked and had powdered eggs. The coffee wasn’t good. Had a hard time finding the ice machine. Beds were very comfortable. The fan in the bathroom was too loud. The light on the desktop didn’t work.

Claytor Area hotel renovated!

Liked: Convenient and budget friendly! Close to ClaytorLake and dam. Nearby restaurants, gas stations, and ice-cream. Indoor heated pool and fresh breakfast
Disliked: Elevator was a little slow
