Wingate by Wyndham Convention Ctr Closest Universal Orlando

I booked this hotel online and paid in advance. When I checked in the girl at the front desk asked for my credit card then proceeded to swipe it, before telling me what she was charging me for. After I asked she told me they would hold $30 and return it in five days. When I logged into my bank account two days later, I noticed three different charges. They said we were smoking in the room. I don't smoke, and neither do the other two people that were there with me. That weekend the hotel was filled with rave kids and the whole floor smelled like marijuana and they said we smoked in the room. I tried to discuss the situation but the person who answered would not listen to me and hung up on me. I guess this is how the hotel makes their money, by stealing it from guests.

Disliked: Front desk staff.

Disliked: Terrible breakfast. Spotted a roach in the bagel container, informed the kitchen staff, she did nothing. Couldn’t avail the shuttle service during return from park , since it leaves at 5:30pm . The parks are open till 10pm - why will anyone comeback 4 hrs early ?! . They should have pick up shuttle atleast twice .

Good but expected more

Liked: The best part was the receptioniist Evane, she was amazing, very nice. The rooms were clean, but a bit smaller than expected.Location was great for the universal parks, you can even walk.
Disliked: the breakfast was a bit poor, no fruits, or some yoghurt , maybe. Always the same thing.
