Liked: The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: In dire need of upgrades. Tub was stained & rusted. Paint peeling off walls. Toilet ran continuously and manager refused to fix it or give me a different room. Lamp shade broken. No bulb in one lamp.

Not 5 star, but I'd...

Liked: You know, for the price, and on a limited budget, I chose Wingate and it wasn't the first time, and will not be the last. I love the breakfast options, yummy waffles and great coffee! The staff at reception and on the dining area are great and accommodating.
Disliked: Well, I had to go show the front desk that the microwave and refrigerator weren't clean.

Disliked: Pool was not heated and hot tub was not working. So a big disappointment.

Liked: The beds in our had dead bugs, snot in the shower, and restroom was a little dirty.
Disliked: The construction at the hotel. We could've fallen because I almost tripped over some empty boxes.

Liked: Convenient location off freeway. Quiet with friendly staff.

In overall, I like staying...

Liked: Clean and convenient location. Pet friendly.
Disliked: Breakfast hour ended earlier than I expected. It was Veteran’s day but when I went down there at 10, it was over. I thought holiday breakfast hour end later than weekdays. There was some construction work or something outside of the property early in the morning and it was so loud.

Overpaid for the service and...

Liked: The hotel is in dire need of upgrades and repairs. The pictures on line are deceptive and the pricing is absurd for the service.
Disliked: The bathroom was dingy, the walls were dirty, the toilet was dirty, the bath tub rusty, the shower didn't work properly, the toilet didn't work properly. Also, the bed sheets and bed covers were stained. It was hard to to stay there but we didn't have other options or the money to switch hotels. Bookings.com sucks too for misleading us about this hotel, none of the pictures on-line reflected what was actually there.
