Wingate by Wyndham Canton-Hall of Fame

When I walked into the room, I was shocked at how unclean it seemed. It looked like the carpet hadn't been vaccumed, the tv had bad reception, the faucet in the dining area barely had any pressure. The outside looked neglected with weeds growing everywhere. It seemed very old and outdated and run down. Even though we had a smoker's room, I thought they could have at least tried to spray some air freshener. I was unhappy with the room. The staff however was very polite.

Disliked: Not very clean, needs to be better kept outside.

Very clean. Pleasant staff. When told staff about the problems with my room, they upgraded for no extra charge.

The ripped me off and...

Liked: They were absolutely rude they cancelled my reservation bc I checked in in the morning WHICH WAS THE WHOLE POINT OF THE RESERVATION which is why I created the reservation for the night before - to get a few hours of sleep in the morning - would not budge on not letting me check in - hotel was gross anyway sold to Indians that clearly are here just to rip off Americans - there are plenty of hotels in canton and the holiday inn express would be a mega upgrade in comparison .
Disliked: It was dirty and not well kept

Disliked: The room i had booked in general had bed bugs so I was moved to a different room

Liked: absolutely nothing
Disliked: Absolutely horrifying first two room absolutely trashed and the third room trashed along with empty alcohol containers, pills etc. wouldn't recommend at all

Liked: Room was clean
Disliked: They double charged me. Paid ahead of time through booking.com. Then they charged me again after I checked in. The person at the desk did fix it when I checked out.

Liked: The location was perfect for dining and close to my event

Great price and staff however...

Liked: Pool, fitness and breakfast was a plus. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Disliked: My room was nice but the bathroom was subpar. There was paint and what looked like paint peeling. The water pressure in the bathroom was poor and it took a while to get hot.

DANNY does not understand

Liked: Made request for a room . As i previously stay at this location. personally txtd with Danny.. confirmed the day before and day of arriving.. and he said he could .upon check I he had booked the person into my roomThe night before leaving request a lat check out talked to the night reception guy.. in the morning cleaning staff were at my door ..when discussed with Danny the morning of check out .he said there was no notes left for him .. about my late check outor my nephews late check out whom also stayed the same dates as me in another room
