Disliked: First of all let me say, I waited a month to write this review. Bc I didn’t want my review to be emotional and rage filled. So this is my calmed version. First of all I made my reservation about 2 wks in advance. So this was not a last min reservation. We were in town for a ball tourn with my 2 daughters. We played all day Sat then needed a room Sat night and then we played all day Sun. On the day of the tournament i got an email for an early digital check in at 11. I did the early check in bc I didn’t know how late the tourn would be. Our last game ended at 5:00 pm. So this was like 6 hrs after i checked in. This was 2 weeks after I made the reservation. We are loading the car and I get a call from the hotel. At 5 pm the day of check in, the hotel calls me to say they over booked and cannot take us! They did not offer ANY kind of future reservation or anything. Just a simple Well sorry for your bad luck! So we are HOT and exhausted and have NO room in Shreveport during some kind of busy weekend. There were NO rooms anywhere. I wouldn’t have even been that upset if it hasn’t been the day of our reservation or if I hadn’t made the reservation 2 weeks beforehand. Why wasn’t the hotel showing booked on booking if they had no rooms? Or they basically bumped me off for someone else? Either way it was very rude and left us in a very bad bind. Luckily we only lived 2 hrs away so we could drive even tho that meant getting up at 4 AM the next day. But had we flown in or something we would have been in a lot of trouble. Now I’m afraid to book a hotel for a trip that’s really far away. What if the same happens when we can’t drive home? I’ve told ppl at other hotels what happened and they said it was very unacceptable what they did. So tbh I can’t give you a review of the actual room bc I never saw it. But You def risk not having a room when you get there.

Liked: Spacious room for price. Waffles for breakfast.
Disliked: Although the bath had good grab bars there wasn’t a bath mat. To protect against slipping in the slippery tub, I put down one of the towels for safety.
