Inflexible and poor communication

Liked: It was in a good location with great facilities.
Disliked: The communication of the staff was poor, inflexible and insensitive. I had booked and paid for a room for 2 people (my son and daughter-in-law), however there was a third king single bed in the room. I approached to ask the staff to ask if I could pay for an extra person (myself) to stay in the room. The staff member said no- they said as I had booked for 2 people, I could not change it to a booking for 3, despite offering to pay for a 3rd person. They offered no further explanation, were very short, and stated that 'this is a high class establishment'.

Liked: Great location and very clean and nicely appointed room. Comfortable bed! Very neat gardens and nice ground and pool area. Would recommend to others and stay again.
