Liked: The room was small but well appointed, and well laid out.
Disliked: The lobby is a work in progress.

Liked: Excellent location, clean and quiet, comfortable bed.
Disliked: Room was quite small, property looked dated.

Gorgeous modern room in a...

Liked: Very spacious room with comfortable living room area. Netflix and other apps on TV were easy to access. The hotel location was in the middle of all the action, restaurants, shops, theatre. The staff was super friendly and helpful to find free parking providing a map.
Disliked: The bathroom was a little tight and the soap dispensers in the shower were not easy to use as they dispense only a little product with each pump. required many many pumps or unscrewing the whole bottle from fixture as a work around.

Not great value for money

Liked: The location was central to almost everything we wanted to do in Stratford. Five-minute walk to the Avon Theatre and to most of the restaurants in downtown Stratford. There was a coffee machine, decent coffee, and cream in the refrigerator. A nice touch.
Disliked: It wasn't clear that we had to book the parking spot ahead of time. I was very surprised the hotel didn't have sufficient parking spots/hotel room. So we had to move the car several times to avoid getting a parking ticket or worse, get towed. I was alarmed that there was no night clerk. While the keypad on the door instead of a key or keycard was handy, I was concerned with how often the "secret code" was changed. Also, while the front door was locked after 9 pm for security purposes, it wouldn't take much for someone to learn the code and enter the building. The room was cramped. The bed was comfortable but too soft for my bad back. There was some evidence of renovation, but .... painted tiles!?! Really?Also, I wondered about handicap accessibility. There was a significant step up into the lobby and no visible ramp available. I mentioned earlier the room we were in was cramped, it would definitely NOT handle a person in a wheelchair. Not that it was a problem for us, but I did wonder.The morning we were to check out, I received an email, saying we could check out on line. So, as we were in a hurry, we strode out the building to our car. The desk clerk came running after us, asking if we were checking out, and insisted we return to do so. Clearly someone didn't get the memo. lol!

Will not recommend

Liked: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable,
Disliked: The air conditioner was very noisy, the bathroom was too small and one towel had brown stains,

Staff nice. Quiet at night....

Liked: Very quiet good night sleep. Great location and comfortable bed. The Nespresso coffee machine did not work properly and the staff replaced it.
Disliked: The hotel is currently doing renovations and this is unpleasant at the downstairs entry level making the price too high to be considered as nice a hotel as they claim it to be. The price was not justified as well because the rooms are old and need updating.

Liked: The location was so close to everything and that was amazing! The TV options were amazing! And the staff were very helpful! :)
Disliked: The toilet wasn’t the best. That was the only issue.
