Liked: A cozy place on a lovely, quiet street just blocks from VGH.
Disliked: Breakfast was a disappointment, even considering Covid restrictions. Better not to offer it or improve the quality.

Just the Ticket
Liked: Clean,.comfortable bed. Good sized room. Breakfast delivered to room. Idealisation for Coty Hall (we were seeing friends just nearby. Great little shopping mall/food court just nearby.
Disliked: Really nothing to complain about. It is operated remotely but there are arrangements to let guests in and instructions once you are in. A regular house turned into a guest house, so don't expect hotel luxuries. 20 minutes walk from Olympic Village.

Liked: Location for me was ideal as I have family in the neighbourhood.
Disliked: The key to the room "Elizabeth" was difficult to use. But I managed !

Windsor Guest House
Liked: Beautiful heritage home, very clean, staff were very nice. Property manager was there to greet us when we arrived. Very safe and quiet neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was, considering that it?s located right in the city centre. Property manager was readily available with one call. Refrigerator in room also has a freezer so we were able to keep our travelling ice packs frozen. A very nice convenience! Our room had a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was in the suite so we didn?t have to leave the room to access the bathroom.
Disliked: However, there were some issues:No air conditioning. The Booking.com write up lead us to believe that we would be getting a really nice home cooked breakfast every morning. But after we arrived, we were told by the property manager that no breakfast would be provided during our stay. The reason given by the property manager was that they were not allowed to operate their kitchen during COVID-19 restrictions. I get that, but that doesn?t dismiss the fact that we were misled by the Booking.com write up. I would not have paid $232/night (including taxes) had I known that we wouldn?t be getting the breakfasts. There was no microwave oven in the room. A minor inconvenience but it would have been nice to have one, especially at $232/night.

We had a fantastic stay
Liked: From day one, we arrived early and called as per the phone number on the door. We received a call back within 3 minutes which was very appreciated. We were given the code to the front door from the lady on the phone and before we hung up she said ?welcome home.? For me I cannot even explain how much that relaxed me. We are in town for a medical consultation and to feel that welcoming energy was exactly what I needed in that moment. Our entire stay was wonderful. The place was quiet and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great.
Disliked: What I did not like was no option to a microwave. Although after booking I did notice there was not a microwave listed in the amenities which would be my fault. The only other thing that would have made our stay perfect, would have been the option to have an extra blanket. My partner and I fluctuate in heat and another blanket would have made the stay top notch. This really was a home away from home and we were very happy ??
