Liked: The maintenance man without my permission caught a turtle out of the pond and gave it to my 10 year old son to bring home as a pet stating the pond was being drained and all the turtles would die. So we kept him in the tub until we did some research's nd went to pets mart to get all the supplies for his habitat. Then noticed parasitic worms coming out from all over his shell and freaked out took him back to the pond. Then shortly after my son was projectil vomiting, extremely fatigued and running a fever. I used bleach cleaner in the shower before we used it for personal use but learned these turtles carry salmonella and bleach doesn't kill that. Meanwhile I had to extend my stay because my son was so ill and the front desk called and said my keys wouldn't work til I came down to pay m. I asked if I had to come right now or could it wait til I got my son settled and she said no rush just know u went have keys til u do. They had my card on file so I don't get why they couldn't just run it or what the issue was. All of a sudden a female manager was knocking aggressively at hotel door and when was very rude because I hadn't come to the front yet and I told her I had my hands full with my kid I wasn't aware it was that urgent based offf the conversation with the girl at the desk on the phone. She told me I had to come now or leave. I shit the door and was so frustrated it shut harder than i intended so to her it appeared as though I slammed it but it wasn't my intention. I had throw up to clean up my son is also autistic and we were staying there because we sold our home and were looking for another to buy. I was under a lot of stress. And the front desk lady knew that. After closing the door the manager came back and practically pounded on it I opened it she said I had 15 minutes to get out and she as calling the police on me.
Disliked: I lost a lot of my property because I didn't have room for it in my car. I came there with a budget van and out most stuff in storage and wasn't expecting to leave that quick I also had my 16!year old and his friend so there was no room and nowhere to store it to make another trip. My teenage son has behavior problems and mental health issues so he want very helpful. I have stage 4 cancer in my female organs, congestive heart failure and cops. I had no cart to use and had to make trip after trip walking my stuff out to the car with a child vomiting. When the manager told me to be out in 15 I asked her to please understand I was under a lot of stress and to remember that we all have our own struggles in life and how she was treating me wasn't fair at all. I don't mean to shit the door hard and can't we discuss this please and she said nope get out pd is in the way. We were stuck in the car for hours before finding another booking. It was a nightmare. I was so stressed I couldn't stop crying. I lost my mother this past year we had a house fire and I was at my with end. What was really upsetting was that her staff gave my son with special needs a turtle out of a filthy pond they were draining as a pet without asking me and not knowing he exposed my son to parasites that could've killed him and all of we all touched the turtle and then to be ran out because my son as ill as a result and I could t leave him alone to get down to the desk immediately. They kept my deposit and even over charged me which I still have to address with the bank. I'm still very upset about how I was treated. I had to leave $300 brand new tank by the dumpster because I had no room so I never got to return that it was a loss as well. I have beeen planning on pursuing this with the corporate office for this hotel and maybe even taking if further I've just had so much going on but I'll get omit.
