Uncomfortable

Liked: The location was not desirable. On the first day there police had the road blocked off for some reason. Second day there was a shooting inside Wendy's in front of the hotel. The suspect was at large.
Disliked: Dirty and unsafe

Good facility, poor customer service

Liked: The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast had protein options. The location was perfect for our conference in Surprise. Parking was good and seemed safe for our car.
Disliked: The front desk stubbornly refused to provide us with a printed receipt for our stay since we booked through a third party. If you are going to be belligerent to third-party bookings, why provide the service? It is unfortunate since their flat refusal to print a sheet of paper for our business records marred an otherwise good hotel stay. We won't be using Windmill again.

Good

NIce hotel, great ammenities, quite...

Liked: Suite was clean, well appointed, convenient & quiet. Free breakfast was much better than average. Staff was excellent, and went above & beyond to find & forward a briefcase we'd left behind.

Cheap but not worth it.

Liked: The room floor plan is good. It provided for 2 sinks with separate access. The room was quiet. The woman in charge of the early morning (5:00 am) preparations was excellent. Very kind, happy and attentive. She seemed to be doing everything from breakfast prep to working the lobby counter.
Disliked: My wife had to clean the bathroom herself - it was not at all clean. The building is very old and is in desperate need to maintenance, painting, cleaning, basic repair. The color scheme, lighting and carpet in the hallways was depressing. I suggest hiring a good interior designer. Windows were painted shut and the room really needed some fresh air.

Good Enough

Liked: First the Good. The hotel was what we expected and needed for our one night stopover. Clean room comfortable enough bed and nice grounds to walk around to stretch your legs. Close to some decent dining.
Disliked: Breakfast was sad. Left and went to McDonalds so that says something. There was no hot water for tea out in the morning before breakfast service but they had 4 kinds of coffee (2 flavored/1reg/1decaf)

Superb

Great rooms and comfortable beds....

Liked: ROOM WAS VERY COMFORTABLE AND REALLY LOVE THE SEPERATE ROOM FOR SLEEPING. GREAT BREAKFASTS!
Disliked: It would be really great to have local restaurant's numbers and location or at least recommendations.

Exceptional

Windmill Suites is basic accommodations.

Liked: Found the room easy. The staff was competent, I believe. But I made a comment to one of the ground staff and it appeared he did not know English.
Disliked: Our corner room was quite dark, one of the outlets did not work, the sofa sleeper couch was not very comfortable, and in general the room was pretty dark.
