Liked: Nothing, they try to queez your money as much as possible.
Disliked: This hotel charged us more than what we booked on Booking! After talking with the manager they agreed to remove the extra fees they were looking for but the day after we checked the transactions and they added back the amount on our credit card! That's a pure scam! On top of that, the spa wasn't open and neither the nice restaurant from where you can see the attractive pictures. We weren't informed at all and paid basicaly this expensive hotel just for the room... When we asked what activities we can do around, they were not really respnsive, like if tourists could know everything around.

Pleasantly surprised with how much...

Liked: Exceptional breakfast was offered (salmon, tuna, meats and cheeses, fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, yogurts, juices) and thoughtfully presented. The hotel is doing a lot to recover and it shows. They've added private saunas and a hot tub. The rooms are big and dated, but the beds were comfortable and the linens were crisp and clean. The staff were lovely! I highly recommend the restaurant onsite. They had a 7 course tasting meal when we were there and my expectations were exceeded!

Beautiful location and an excellent...

Liked: The included breakfast was amazing. We found upon arrival that there was more to do than we expected, outdoor hot tub and barrel saunas have been recently added.
Disliked: It was -22 at night on the weekend that we went so space heaters were deployed in the restaurant. The food was excellent but got cold quickly as it was a little chilly in the room. The staff were friendly and helpful and went out of there way to accommodate special requests. We will definitely return.

Overall it was very nice.

Disliked: Wait staff at the Windermere Pub could have been more attentive. We were left waiting for long periods of time.

Staff: great. Natural setting: lovely....

Disliked: Pillows for the bed: so very uncomfortable. I heard several people expressing the same thing. One personhad a few poor nights sleep b/c of the pillows. I am sure they will rectify this.Everything else was fine.
