A beautiful, quiet and relaxing...

Liked: Beautiful historic resort with many updates. In the much quieter winter season it is a peaceful and relaxing getaway. Amenities are a bit limited this season and not a lot in the area open but the hot tub and outdoor saunas on site are wonderful and the pub food was good. Real fast was wonderful! Take advantage of snowshoeing and walking to really appreciate it all. Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like but the experience would be enhanced with a few more activities (wine/scotch/gin tasting, cooking demos, east coast kitchen party) and if the main dining room was open. Maybe in future with more guests in off season this will occur. And we were there mid week so that could be part of it.
