Perched on a hill overlooking Windermere town center is the Windermere Hotel. Built in 1847 the hotel offers rooms with private bathrooms and a restaurant. Many rooms offer stunning view over Lake Windermere or the town center. All feature TVs hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities while free Wi-Fi is available in public areas. Liked: The location parking really happy room was fine lovely beds really comfy and I could take my little dog very pet friendly ☺️ happy to go back again

Location and price are great....

Liked: -Location is amazing-Good Wi-Fi-Decent view from room-Great building
Disliked: -TV remote didn't work (tiny 1990s tv)-Hairdryer didn't work-Hot cloudy water in cold tap upon arrival-Hot water not consistent in shower -Room has lots of wear and tear -Soundproofing not great-Bag storage in public area. I came back to get my bag and people were sitting right next to it-Super thin pillows

Liked: Small room but ok , had good sleep , except that the fire alarm went off .
Disliked: Breakfast no alternative at tea or coffee couldn’t get hot chocolate Lift out of order
