Liked: The room was excellent. Hotel was well kept and a nice place to be. The staff were very helpful and easy to deal with.
Disliked: Having to go home.

Liked: Amazing property! So so clean, really friendly staff, the room was incredible!! We had the best time, only a short walk from Windermere or Bowness. We would love to stay again

Nice, but wouldn't go back....
Liked: Breakfast and snacks were very good - quality food. We booked the Honey Suite - ground floor accessible room. The jacuzzi bath was lovely. The room was beautiful - enough furniture and very tasteful. Large TV, table and chairs for meals, sofa for lounging and a desk. Robes provided too, perfect for morning coffee on the balcony.
Disliked: We paid nearly £900 for 2 nights Fri/Sat in The Honey Suite - photos showed an accessible ground floor room - we then didn't have use of the hot tub as my partner couldn't physically get in, it was not as pictured - so instead of offering a partial refund or complimentary drinks with dinner, as they'd sold us something they couldn't deliver - we were told to leave if we didn't like it. Absolutely shocking customer service - at no point did the manager come to speak to us directly, they hid behind the receptionist who was asked to pass on messages. The room was not totally accessible and the hotel staff/manager/owner's attitude when we raised an issue was awful. The hot tub area pictured for the Honey Suite is not the hot tub area you get when you arrive. In the photos there is a ledge and a step in, meaning my partner would be able to get in - she has physical disabilities so this room was booked as everything was accessible for her. Only the hot tub was not accessible for her and when we raised this the response was awful. They apologised for not updating the website, the old hot tub had broke so it had to be replaced. We were not made aware of this prior to our visit. They offered to try and move us upstairs - not ok, we booked ground floor for a reason. They offered to put steps the other side of the hot tub, which would mean my partner walking round the front of the hotel, through the carpark and in the gate to the hot tub. Again, not something my partner was comfortable with. The attitude to this was, well it'll be dark so no one would see you - you cant use the hot tub past 9.30pm, its still light then. We were then advised that the manager (not present but contacted on the phone) had passed on the message that they would refund us for the Saturday night if we would be more comfortable elsewhere, we could check out.

Liked: Staff were welcoming and could make reccomendations about where to visit in the area. The room was perfect! and breakfast was amazing. Would stay here again.
