Liked: Breakfast was very good, in the lovely dining room with wood fire burning. The home is located in a beautiful part of Launceston with parks nearby.

Wasted time and money.

Liked: Property presented exactly as the pictures show. Traditional building with modern amenities. Continental breakfast was good. Mainly for the Tamar Valley yoghurt.
Disliked: Too much room for error at check in cost us a lot of time and didn’t get what we booked for. More like a collective of Airbnb rooms plus a dedicated staff member at breakfast time. This property didn’t have anyone to check us in person. So we followed the instructions, get to our room and someone else has decided they wanted that room and settled into it! Clearly a larger room and view. Call hotel to sort it out and they ask us to move to another room. Appreciate she was now trying to sort it as easliy as possible for all but just not what we wanted after a long day. While claiming it was a room upgrade it just wasn’t what we wanted or needed. The room they moved us to they charged more for bc it had more rooms, a kitchen and a bbq but it was at the back of the house with a view of the garden shed. It wasn’t what we booked and why we were going to a traditional BnB. We wanted to have a locally bought wine on the balcony in the room we booked and relax after a long walk with a view. I never book a ground floor room. Problem also was that as someone else had taken our room we wasted about 2 hours while it was sorted and missed a booking we had for something else. I’m sure the check in process works most of the time but really chaotic for us and can see that it would often not work. Would not do again. Waste of time and money

Liked: It was a very complete continental breakfast with bread, pastry, cereal, juice, coffee, etc.

Liked: Breakfast is excellent. Room very comfy, and the view is great. The staff is super nice, and gave us helpful tips to our next stop.
Disliked: Probably need to notify the customers that some rooms are upstairs. But it might mentioned in the info but I’ve missed it.
