Lovely spot in central Ashland...

Liked: Lovely property with ideal location in heart of downtown Ashland. Really excellent breakfast: choice of hot main courses cooked to order by in-house restaurant. Friendly and welcoming staff. Smallish but nicely furnished room. We stayed on a slow night (Monday; no OSF plays) and paid a very reasonable price of $160 (especially considering the breakfast); I imagine prices can get a lot higher.
Disliked: Bed was way too soft: lovely to look at, but difficult to sleep in. Also a minor complaint: Inn's lawn service starting doing noisy maintenance (weed eating, etc.) right outside our window at 7am.

Liked: Fantastic vintage hotel with spacious room, nice balcony and a fabulous restaurant (Alchemy) just downstairs. Will definitely stay again!

nice hotel. but you need...

Liked: the place looks very nice. feels like an old house. the location is great and close to center of town.when arriving all the data on how to get into my room was provided and felt like an escape room :)the staff was nice.
Disliked: i like old places. but it feels like they compromized too much for it.the electrical outlet didn't work good (they fixed it after i complained). the shower water flow is weak, and the design was not tastfull to my eyes. there is only 1 window in the room. no window in the bathroom. the bad was not comfterable (too soft). they dont give you a bootle of water (unless you buy it). i expect in every hotel room to get water...
