Small; basic; clean; good location.

Disappointing for the price

Disliked: No one to greet us, next day reception asked why we hadn’t called but just found our key in hall. Blind in room was poor, no curtains. Bathroom door did not shut. Bin was emptied in room but bag just left in the table in the room.

Disliked: Perhaps in need of a few decor updates, rearranging of refreshments area, electrical point access. We'd have preferred to have a way of darkening the room more with curtains or black-out blinds

Liked: The Wimbledon Hotel is in a great location for the Championship. There is a bus stop directly opposite the hotel and it’s only a 10 minute walk to the Underground & Rail services.
Disliked: I wasn’t aware we had to pay extra for breakfast. It was an additional £15pp.It is an old property which is in need of a face lift.

Liked: I booked because of the location and supposedly had four stars.
Disliked: This was not a comfortable stay. The room did have in it everything on this list. However, I need of decoration and reorganisation, electrics and plumbing. The bathroom was extremely small and not clean due to the age and deterioration of it.

Disliked: We did not stay there as it was unsuitable and are having a refund. The property was sadly very shabby and downmarket. The woodwork was in need of complete stripping down and repainting, the furniture was obviously in need of an upgrade, the bed was too soft to provide any comfort, the shower was stained and not well maintained.The price was much too high for the type of property. Booking. Com rated it 4 star and 6.8 - this was professionally unacceptable - we would give no stars and a 1 rating for location and parking.
