Liked: Location.
Disliked: Parking was tight, bed was below average, the ac unit was VERY LOUD! ALL NIGHT!

I would highly recommend Wimberly...

Liked: Staff was awesome. Made us feel welcome. We were celebrating our 44th wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time.
Disliked: Ordered regular pancakes at the bar, they were under done. Suggestion for the bar's menu: better selection of mixed drinks maybe include marguerita's? Also, a better selection of food that I can recognize. Suggested that something be put in the bath tubs as it was really slick.

Liked: Overall, it is a cute little place. We checked in on Christmas day. The front desk was closed but the staff was on call and he was able to assist me with our check in. It is a pet friendly atmosphere which was a plus but the overnight cost for the pet is slightly on the high side. Nonetheless, our pet still enjoyed his stay.
Disliked: The shower wasn't draining properly.

Overcharged & underwhelmed

Liked: The room was undeniably spacious and beautifully decorated, which we appreciated.
Disliked: We can’t help but feel scammed by the price we paid—$375 per night. After looking at future rates on booking platforms like Booking.com and TripAdvisor, we were shocked to see even popular weekends, such as Valentine’s Day, priced between $225 and $250 per night. This significant price discrepancy left us questioning the value we received. Additionally, we felt unsafe walking to and from downtown during our stay. If the inn offered some form of transportation to downtown, it could have helped justify the steep cost and added to the overall experience. We’re deeply disappointed with the outcome of this trip, especially since visiting Wimberley—and staying at this inn—was something I had been looking forward to for my birthday. While the setting was relaxing, the experience left us feeling overcharged and underwhelmed.

Liked: It was peaceful and very comfortable and the people were very warm and helpful.
