A short but comfortable stay...
Liked: This was our 4th or 5th visit over many years and is a good place for us to break our journey up to the Scottish Highlands. The staff were friendly and helpful and we had a good breakfast and comfortable room. Easy parking in the hotel car park. We drove south for an enjoyable visit to Culzean Castle and its lovely country park and on a previous visit took a ferry across to the Isle of Bute for the day. We always enjoy visiting Nardini's ice-cream parlour in Largs.
Disliked: We missed the evening dinners in the restaurant and Saturday evening Ceilidh music in the background that used to take place before the Covid pandemic but the bar meals were good in the evening and we will return again when we next travel up to the Highlands.
