Please call in the exterminators to clean up Cafe du Parc - remove cockroaches ASAP. Disappointing breakfast. Clean rooms and lobby; great dinner.
Liked: Overall wonderful experience, except breakfast.
Disliked: Poor quality buffet breakfast; too many cockroaches.

From greeting at the front, through reception, baggage delivery (and retrieval), room cleanliness and decor, room service, staff and hotel ambiance left little about which to complain. The location is as central as one could wish to be and, tho' imposing and so very historic, all the public areas were commodious and "people friendly". A fine visit!
Liked: What a great hotel should be. Minor problems resolved quickly with professional aplomb.

The food, from the restaurant to room service was excellent, as well as presentation! I utilized the fitness room and the spa, and both were wonderful.
Liked: Superior staff and service.
Disliked: None.

Liked: The hotel was absolutely beautiful! Spacious rooms and in a great location!
Disliked: We could not seem to get the air below 70°, so the room was a little warmer than what we are used to.

Liked: The location was great and the staff was very kind.
Disliked: I just wish it was more modern. The hotel has a very old world feel. Room service was just so-so…

Given bad room due to...
Liked: On check in I was told I couldn't be upgraded at my cost due to using booking.com, I was told I should have booked directly with IHG.I was placed in a room with no view and no windows that open. It was an awful experience.I was willing to pay to upgrade.I recommend you remove the hotel from booking.com for mistreating your clients.

Short stay but very impressed!
Liked: The staff were very friendly- I had a bad cold and unfortunately just went to bed after I arrived - reception offered me late check out which is just what I needed to get some rest. Was sad I didn’t have opportunity to enjoy restaurant etc but will visit again some other time hopefully!
