Rustic stay with A+ location.

Liked: Hidden gem on Lake Placid. Lakefront area is heavenly, with mature trees. Free use of boats a huge plus. Other guests were very friendly, many of them return yearly. Refreshingly simple accommodations compared to most of the other “modern” behemoths on the lake.
Disliked: A full included breakfast would make this stay perfect. The receptionist needs cheering up.

Otherwise, it was a very...

Liked: Great location with a balcony view of the Lake Placid. About 15-20 minutes walk from the Main Street. Beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t use the indoor pool, but I did swim in the small outdoor pool and like the fact that there is a water from the lake in it.
Disliked: The vanities are a bit old. And i think a continental breakfast option would be beneficial to have.

Cozy, clean and comfortable

Liked: I love the “ADK” feel of this place! We stayed here overnight for my son’s AAU tournament. It was perfect!
