My stay was ok.

Liked: I like the seclusion.
Disliked: I didn’t like that the handle to our room for the night was broken, no hot water at all. I also didn’t like the fact that the shower curtain was not in place, which btw, I couldn’t put back so it was left. The parking needs to be a little more convenient for people who are spending their hardworking money to have a staycation.

Find a different place to...

Liked: The place was so awful that it forced us to stay away as long as possible and enjoy as much of this beautiful part of the island as we could!
Disliked: This is a decrepit run down property that did not appear to be structurally sound. The building sags in the middle, there is significant wood rot and one part of the hotel has collapsed. The bedding was generally clean but termite droppings appeared on the white sheets every morning. Birds were living in the rafters. The glass was broken on one window and we had to clean spiders out of it. Hot water was non-existent. The grounds are neglected and overgrown. The lobby area needed a good sweeping despite their attempt at displaying art. They only offered breakfast one morning out of three. When we pulled into the parking lot we actually backed up because this decrepit place couldn’t be what we booked. We should have left, Don’t book this hotel as you’ll regret it like we did!

Liked: We liked the natural sounds of the rain forest creatures through the screened windows
Disliked: Toilet paper roll was near empty, we were only provided hand towels for showering, and the pillows had stains on them

Pleasant

Liked: The location and the peaceful area.
Disliked: The rooms need to be clean deeply since there's a lot of dirt that hasn't been cleaned up in a while! I think that the hotel needs a lot of renovation. It needs a whole new modern look outside and in the rooms... also, the breakfast menu is not bad but it could be better. Overall the hotel wasn't bad but it can be a lot better.

A refund would be appreciated.

Disliked: Online photos are false advertising as room and bathroom are nothing like pictures. No hot water should have been clear in the description of room.Transparency would be appreciated.

It's a dump, but a...

Liked: I loved the oddball wood sculptures all over the lobby. The extensive grounds were nice for a walk and for photos. And, there were cats. I never met the owner during the four days I was there, but the staff were all attractive, young women. Some had foreign accents.
Disliked: I took photos of the mold garden growing in the corners of my room and posted them on social media. That got some reactions! The "breakfast" was meager and, when it was gone, it was gone. The first morning, I had a chunk of papaya with my coffee. The second day, I got lucky. I had two chunks of papaya. The walkway on the lower level was warped like a fun-house mirror. The floor in my room wasn't very level either.
