Disliked: The building has extremely poor sound insulation, which is unfortunately common in many properties—especially older ones or those built with cost efficiency over comfort in mind.Being on the ground floor, I could clearly hear footsteps from the unit above as well as conversations from the neighboring room, which made the stay quite uncomfortable.Additionally, during a heatwave in Berlin, the only window in my room opened directly onto a shared terrace where people frequently gathered. This not only compromised privacy—since they could see directly into the room—but also added another layer of noise and discomfort.

Liked: Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff, very nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Nice coffee and tea set up, roomy closet.

Liked: Breakfast, staff, courtyard, high ceiling rooms. I stayed in two separate rooms with my sister and it really felt like we lived in the same house. It was just excellent.
Disliked: Not much. It does the job well.
