Basic but overall a decent...

Liked: Location was good, hotel looked lovely from outside, flowers etc. Bar was nice and breakfast room lovely and breakfast was great as was dinner. Cannot fault food.
Disliked: Room was needing attention, wallpaper seams coming apart. When you turned off 1 light they all went off. Mattress needs replacing. Bathroom needs renewing.. I noticed a lot of workmen stay there so maybe thats their target market. Overall I would stay there again, just needs some attention.

Liked: Breakfast pretty good and dining room was bright and welcoming…as was the lady serving.The hanging baskets and flower troughs around the outside of the hotel were really lovely.We’ve stayed here several times in the last few years and have always been comfortable.
Disliked: The room we stayed in on this visit could probably do with a makeover.The carpet in places was threadbare and stained.The bathroom, although very clean, could also use an update.
