Disappointing

Disliked: The bed wasn't comfy but managable. The main concern was there was a locked door from our bedroom, possibly to the next room. We could clearly hear everything they talking from their bedroom . We were very uncomfortable with this as they could also hear everything from our bedroom too. Felt like no privacy

Would recommend and stay there...

Liked: Lovely and clean (Emma thank you), front of house staff very welcoming and helpful when I had to book an extra day at short notice. Would definitely stay there again

Very good

Liked: Very conveniently situated and has a large car park. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The Bar area was comfy. Service was a little slow in the evening as the barman doubled up as door security and reception. Breakfast was good though the menu was not clear. It only offered fried eggs until the waitress told us they could be poached or scrambled. Overall, it's a good place to stay. It could be a brilliant hotel with a bit of TLC. It just needs updating.
Disliked: The bed mattress needs replacing. They are thin and worn. Water was scalding hot, and needs warning near taps.

Liked: The hotel was very clean , staff very friendly and amazing food , was a lovely stay would highly recommend

Liked: The lady on reception the night we got there was lovely and welcoming, breakfast was nice, warm and egg cooked well
Disliked: We walked into the room immediately greeted by a moth, no issues, but then partner plonked himself on the bed, very uncomfortable, old,creaky. I then got a spare pillow from the spare bed, 3 small moths inside that pillowcase. Then went to the toilet.. dead moths in the bath..no i didnt take photos i felt dirty at that point and struggled to sleep. For £80 i was extremely dissapointed
