NIGHTMARE !!

Liked: I will be contacting booking . Com as when we arrived the premises were locked up & the building was being secured by security as the owner had disappeared with the fixtures/fittings money etc !!
Disliked: To have access & a room for the 2 nights we paid for, we had to find alternative accommodation on the busiest weekend fri/sat of the year, in the dark & in temperature of minus 4* we managed to find alternative hotels 7 miles away at considerably expensive prices at such short notice!!

Hotel gone into liquidation and...

Liked: This hotel has gone into liquidation. We arrived and the hotel was shut with no life at all. Apparently they went bust on the Thursday and failed to let anyone know. I had travelled with family to see my grandson who resides at a specialist school for autism, we had to go back home as there was no other availability due to the Christmas market. Extremely disappointing

Liked: Clean, comfy, very quiet. Has a indoor pool/spa onsite
Disliked: No food served

Passable

Liked: Beautiful and calm location.
Disliked: There was no handwash liquid and very slow water supply for flush and for shower. Very disappointed.

Exceptional

Liked: The spa and leisure and how peaceful it was
Disliked: The bathroom we had we had a leak at the back of the toilet too

awful experience

Liked: the view from the room was the only good thing about our stay
Disliked: there was no breakfast, no refreshments in room had to ask gym in the morning for milk sugar and coffee which she was not happy about "i hate being nice to the hotel guests"doors was locked so we couldnt get out of the building, including the fire door which made us feel extremely unsafe.
