Liked: The tea and coffee station in the room was well stocked. The Elemis Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel was nice in the rooms. Shower had good power and temperature. Room was spacious.
Disliked: The staff were not very warm and friendly and check-in. Limited conversation. Expired in-room dining menu placed in the room. No phone in the room to place order. They give you a QR code to scan but it takes you to a number to ring. I don’t live in the UK so have international call charges. In-room dining meal was not great. I ordered the burger and it was quite fatty/gristly. The handle on the knife was dirty and the glasses in my room had old lipstick marks on them. The hairdryer had a nozzle attachment that didn’t fit the hairdryer in the room. No bottled water in the room. Bathrobes and slippers are only provided in club rooms. Rooms were very hot without AC (but it was a sunny day and they provided a fan in the room). I think the name “Hall & Spa” and the website is a bit misleading to make you think the stay is more luxurious than it is.

Staying in the paddocks, not...

Liked: The hotel is a great place, main hotel building in my experience, is very nice with a great bar/restaurant and amazing memorabilia in the bar from racing history being so close to Silverstone.
Disliked: On this occasion I was in a room in “the paddocks” not in the main building close to the entrance to the estate.The hallways smelt really bad and when I entered my room it was even worse. The bathroom was giving off a very strong dam musty smell. There were bugs, in the bathroom that are attracted to damp conditions.I’d been travelling for hours and it was already late, so I masked the smell with sprays and tried to get some sleep. The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the smell didn’t leave and clearly wasn’t a new thing.I informed the staff when I checked out, who did apologies and I hope the room and corridors had a deep clean after I stayed.
