Liked: Perfect location for a wedding just a couple of miles away. Nice surroundings, well equipped. Breakfast was of good quality, plentiful and well cooked.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Great spot with nice grounds and comfortable room with everything that was needed. Breakfast was outstanding and we really enjoyed the stay. Highly recommended.

Liked: Huge breakfast; quiet room and location; easy check-in (and out); 20 minuets from reunion venue in Congleton, with friends from various towns
Disliked: Would have been good to have an armchair in the bedroom

Disliked: For us the steep stairs were a bit of a problem but that's inevitable in a lovely big house like this

Liked: Fabulous stay for us - just a 1 night. Clean, well presented, great breakfast, cooked to order. Some biscuits and sweeties in the room as well as hot beverages/a kettle, and bottled water.
Disliked: nothing we didn't like.

Exceptional

Liked: Excellent and quiet location.Well equipped room. Superb breakfast. Nice touches in the room, ie mints, nice toiletries, bottle opener. Excellent pub in Egerton, 10 minute walk.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like.

A very place to stay...

Liked: The house has lots of character, was very clean, has a wide selection of breakfast foods (each were delicious), the rooms were well stocked, clean and comfortable, and the location was very central.
Disliked: Lugging a heavy suitcase up to the attic.
