Biggest disappointment

Liked: It was walking distance from town moor
Disliked: Everything... I didnt stay i checked out when I got back to the room, it was so dirty black mould in the shower, stains in the toilet, stains on the wall tiles, broken bathroom door, dirty beds, disgusting smell all through hotel of sewage

Liked: The breakfast because all items were individually wrapped.
Disliked: The room was the size of a cupboard, no door on wardrobe, tiny bathroom and the shower was so dirty I couldn't use it. I'll never stay there again.

Pretty Good

Liked: Good parking, good sized room and clean and tidy. Old building so not immaculate but ok. Excellent bar and excellent food in the pub area with reasonable prices and special discounts for guests.
Disliked: Breakfast included.. but only hot English breakfast on weekends so a little disappointing.

We had a good stay...

Liked: Friendly staff and customers. No trouble.
Disliked: Staircase leading to hotel rooms smell really strong urine smell. Shower was dirty and full of grime. The shower holder for shower gel came of while taking shower Not many plug sockets Floor extremely slippery when coming out shower Towels look very outdated and old. Mattress looked dirty and brown stained so looked old.

Amazing value for money in...

Liked: Amazing value for money in leafy Jesmond. Clean double room , ensuite with BATH and shower. Buffet breakfast simple : choice of juices, toasts , fruit , cereal.My room was above the bar - very nice bar at that with outdoor heaters . My room directly above bar and as I chilled in the bath it was like bathing in a rave - music pumping , good tunes. 11.00pm on the dot the music stopped.Tradesmen and women, students, parents of students ......all welcome here:-)
Disliked: No complaints

Basic but well located in...

Liked: Staff were friendly, great car park. Room was spacious. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of storage if you need it.
Disliked: The continental breakfast was lacklustre. Was not told about drink options so had nothing! No juice out whatsoever. Very limited choice of food. Wasn’t impressed. Did mention on check out.

Very good

Liked: The staff were absolutely incredible. Angela upgraded me to a double room on check-in, and Dan went above and beyond. I couldn't rate my welcome higher. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable (especially the pillows!!) and the shower was hot and powerful. I also ate in the bar, a halloumi wrap and chips which was delicious. Whites Hotel is hands down the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed in.
