Whites Hotel

Very good

Liked: Staff were absolutely fantastic, thank you Millie and the rest of the team. Food at the restaurant was also good and great value for money.
Disliked: Place a bit outdated, also room is above a pub so as expected there is a bit of noise in the evening.

Went to gig and needed...

Liked: Cheap and cheerful. Daytime receptionist was very good and helpful.
Disliked: No lift. The included breakfast is cereal. Night porter very unhelpful. Bar is shut from 23:00, including for guests. No other bars, food outlets, etc open nearby later on.

3 night stay was just...

Liked: Room - clean with comfortable bed. Bar noisy up to 11pm. Breakfast very disappointing.
Disliked: Breakfast was poor. Coffee from machine was awful.

Easy to find , very...

Liked: The welcoming staff I was worried about being able to park, as I would be arriving late I didn’t want to arrive our Daughter and I no parking space ( Due to medical problems of mine ) They contacted me without hesitation and reversed a parking bay for me right near the car park entrance to the hotel The lovely man who checked us in even helped me bring my luggage into our room from my car ( which he didn’t have to ) We stayed for 2 nights ( was up there a festival to see Robbie Williams ) it was walking distance to and from the location of the event so convenient When I arrived home I couldn’t find a attachment to my nebuliser I searched and searched and searched I reached out to the Whites Hotel and Alex the young girl , couldn’t of been so helpful She checked lost property, but unfortunately it was there So she said “leave it with me and I will contact housekeeper “ Typical of course it wasn’t there I found it at home in place I would of never had put it there It was total random how I found it Of course I contacted The Whites Hotel ASAP Alex answered the call and she said she was just going to call me to say they couldn’t find it She went above and beyond to help me even though I had ended my stay there So big shout out to Alex Thank you The Whites Hotel and thank you again Alex xx
Disliked: Everything was plain sailing really Only down fall was after you book you get a email saying that on arrival you have to pay a deposit of £50 for the room, which will be returned the same day My advise would be take £50 in cash as it’s instant pay back , rather than waiting to hit back in your payment method ( in my case it was the following day )

Biggest disappointment

Liked: It was walking distance from town moor
Disliked: Everything... I didnt stay i checked out when I got back to the room, it was so dirty black mould in the shower, stains in the toilet, stains on the wall tiles, broken bathroom door, dirty beds, disgusting smell all through hotel of sewage
