Anniversary Break

Liked: A large property with stunning views and located within easy driving distance of the east coast and nearby historical locations. A good comfortable sized room with a spacious bathroom, toiletries and tea and coffee facilities. Freshly cooked and prepared breakfast selected the evening before from a good selection and we opted for a cooked evening meal on the day we arrived. Our host Angela was welcoming and helpful throughout and greeted us on our arrival along with her four dogs after a long drive with tea and cake.
Disliked: Due to the volume of House Martins and Sparrows we were advised to keep our window open with only a small gap at the bottom to prevent wayward birds from joining us or leaving little deposits. The WiFi in our room was patchy but not an issue for us.

Enjoyable stay

Liked: Lovely breakfast, great selection to choose from. Amazing en-suite with free standing bath, separate shower. Comfy bed, good quality duvet and pillows. Great view over the countryside from bedroom window.
