Liked: Great breakfast choice. Nice room touches with cake and sherry in addition to the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Restaurant food excellent.

Great choice of hotel, good...

Liked: Lovely hotel, room was very comfortable and well appointed. Breakfast choices were good, we tried several and they were delicious. Dining room was beautiful, food was excellent. All in all, great place to stay, would recommend to anyone.

Weekend stay @The White Swan...

Liked: Great food, great room and a warm welcome. Close to local attractions such as Bamburgh and Holy Island. And dog friendly with a bowl of fresh water always available. We really enjoyed our evening meal at the pub restaurant in particular.

Just Perfect.

Liked: The hosts were very welcoming and the room was extremely well appointed with better than expected facilities. There were all the usual coffee and tea facilities but we had freshly made cake on a stand under a glass dome and, in addition to both sparkling and none sparkling water, we had a small carafe of sloe gin. The restaurant had a wonderful selection of food and wine at great value prices and the breakfast, served by the owner, was exceptional. I would strongly recommend this hostelry if you are in the area for a holiday or simply travelling - just perfect!
