my expectations were fulfilled

Liked: The hotel has a nice quiet beer garden and the food on offer was very good. The village has a lot to offer. The breakfast was very good, there was coffee from a fully automatic machine, the first hotel on my Wales round trip where I could also enjoy a delicious cappocino for breakfast

Food & staff good, hotel...

Liked: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Location for the lake was very good, all breakfasts and purchased meals were good.Shower was the best shower we have ever experienced.Big tv in room.
Disliked: 1) Bed (mattress) very uncomfortable with distinct lack of furniture in bedroom (no bedside table on one side) and no-where to sit although enough room and very tired. 2) No hooks in bathroom to hang clothing, towels etc. 3) Ran out of 3 (out of 4) pump ales for the whole of the stay. 4) Not enough parking for hotel residents although you could park for free at back of hotel. 5) Bedroom was extremely hot and had to have a fan on for most of the night (room 108).

A great two night stay...

Liked: Great location in the centre of Bala. Very friendly and efficient staff.Good standard pub grub menu, which was well cooked. A couple of well kept cask ales on.The room was spacious clean and very comfortable. A well appointed bathroom.A very good continental buffet breakfast, followed by a choice of a cooked breakfast.
Disliked: Not s major issue, but some of the door hinges need a squirt of WD40 as a few of the doors squeak, which could disturb early light sleepers.

Welsh adventure

Liked: Central, tidy, vfm, great breakfast,free parking. Would stay there again
Disliked: The 12 hrs of rain

Liked: The room was great, very clean and great facilities. The breakfast was very good aswell.
Disliked: The beer selection in the bar was a bit poor considering the location and the fantastic local breweries.

Disliked: on arrival told resturaunt closed, bed was stained n had hairs all over pillow and too top it off window leaked and poured in with rain needless too say we didnt stay and had too go threw booking for a refund, whole place just felt dirty and too say its been refurbished it must have been on a shoe string.other may have a diff view but our room was awful 108.
