White Horse Hotel

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a shame we were in the separate annex due, we were told, to us wanting a double, even though we booked some time ago. However it was very comfortable. The lunch and breakfast were very nice indeed and it was a shame we had to leave!

Liked: Very nice atmosphere. Lovely staff. Very comfortable bed!
Disliked: Only one negative - chilly bedroom and difficult to get to the thermostat on radiator so not sure if it was even working.

Amazing

Liked: It was the best wheelchair adapted room I’ve ever stayed in. Bed and pillows so comfortable. Staff lovey and food exceptional

A great stay that suited...

Liked: The hotel had character and had been refurbished well. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional and responded quickly to requests and queries. The air conditioning device in our room on arrival on a very hot Friday afternoon was magic! The food was excellent too
Disliked: Nothing really. More parking would be great, but impossible for its location and car parks are in easy walking distance

Lovely hotel for a short...

Liked: Very nice room with a comfy bed and given the warm weather they had added an air conditioning unit to make the room more comfortable. Small fridge to allow cold water in the room and some sweet treats for arrival. The pub area was great for chilling in the evenings and the food was lovely
Disliked: Very limited parking on site, but there was free overnight parking in a carpark across the road 6pm-8am. The breakfast was lovely but only included limited hot drinks and you could only select a continental or cooked option. Having said this the staff were doing their best to be flexible with it

Liked: It all suited our trip very well. Very comfortable clean room. Could take the dog, provided bed and bowls for dog too.. Good location in centre of town.. very nice breakfast

Liked: Food was excellent both dinner and breakfast
Disliked: Carpets were also bit grubby.

Disliked: The portable air con was not sufficient for the hot evening unfortunately.
